Naked ping pong for anyone?
Word on the street has it that 63 year old Susan Sarandon has split
with her hubby (12 years her junior) Tim Robbins and is dating 31 year
old Jonathon Bricklin, according to celebritorium.com the online celebrity watch site. Apparently she met Bricklin at a naked ping pong
party – the mind does boggle, although this one is difficult to believe
considering Sarandon’s past comments about family and marriage. She
certainly appeared to have it together. Consider her words.
“I’m certainly not an expert, but Tim and I just celebrated 17
years together, which in Hollywood years I think is 45. I think the key
is just focusing on this one person and not keeping one eye on the door
to see who might be better.”
It seems likely that after Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins split
earlier last month the media are looking for some dirt. Both Sarandon
and Robbins say the split was mutual and amicable. I do hope so;
healthy Hollywood relationships are such a rarity.
Robbins was Sarandon’s live in partner for 21 years and they have two
grown sons together. She also has a daughter from a previous
relationship. Sarandon was often quoted as saying she hated to be away
from her family.
Although cast in the movie Joe in 1969, Susan Sarandon’s first
significant role in the movies was the part of Janet in the cult
classic, Rocky Horror Picture Show. Since then she has been a regular
and familiar face on stage at the Academy, Peoples Choice and Genie
Awards; taking home five of the coveted Academy Awards through the
years.
