Ask The Experts: “Can porn be part of a relationship?”

Toyboy Warehouse toyboy and cougar dating expert Gaynor gives us another insightful answer to your dating questions:

Can porn be part of a relationship?

For Gavin, 20, porn is an important part of his life. As he says, it’s the way guys learn what to do sexually before actually doing the real thing. But porn is becoming a burden on his relationships, even causing one of them to end. Gavin asks our resident dating expert, can porn be part of a relationship?

Gaynor’s response: The short answer? Yes.

One important thing you have to remember about porn stars is they’re actors. Porn films are still films, they’re not a reflection of real life, it’s very important not to align your real life expectations with what you see on screen. Remember things that may not show the actors in the best light (e.g. struggling to get an erection) won’t be shown on film but may happen during the real thing.

Gaynor tells us that it’s perfectly normal to use porn as a way of spicing up a relationship, but as with everything it’s important to discuss it with your partner beforehand. Don’t forget to read up about sex, there are plenty of resources out there, besides porn, that’ll teach you how to please a woman.

I think porn can be a part of a relationship as long as it’s not taken too seriously and is talked about honestly with each other.
